General

Canfor Green Energy is a biomass energy generation facility that utilizes Canfor residual fibre to produce steam power and electricity.

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Shift Engineer will operate, monitor and maintain facility equipment and systems in order to keep the operations running at maximum efficiency with minimum interruption.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will bring the following experience and expertise:

  • Must hold a minimum 2nd Class Power Engineer certification, valid in Alberta
  • A commitment to safe work practices
  • Well developed organizational and communication skills
