- First priority to students who have resided in the Peace Region for three years prior to entering the program
- Must intend to work in the Northern Alberta Development Council (NADC) area upon completion of studies and meet NADC eligibility for matching funds. See the NADC website for details.

- Available to students enrolled in third year of the GPRC Forestry Program
- Awarded on basis of need, consideration given to academic standing and being a student from the Peace Region

- Available to students in second year of the Forest Resources Management applied degree program at Grande Prairie Regional College
- Enrolled full-time in a post-secondary program
- Student must be from the Peace Region to be eligible for this bursary

- Administered by Grande Prairie Regional College Foundation
Criteria
- Available to students in second year of the Forest Resources Management applied degree program at Grande Prairie Regional College.
- Selection is based on demonstrated leadership in forestry endeavours.
- Student must be continuing in subsequent year of the program at Grande Prairie Regional College in the next academic year.
