Canfor Pulp Products Inc. (“CPPI”) (TSX: CFX) today reported net income of $22.4 million, or $0.34 per share, for the third quarter of 2016, compared to $2.2 million, or $0.03 per share, for the second quarter of 2016 and $31.2 million, or $0.45 per share, for the third quarter of 2015. For the nine months ended September 30, 2016, the Company’s net income was $47.7 million, or $0.70 per share, compared to $76.9 million, or $1.09 per share, for the nine months ended September 30, 2015.
