I’m going to use this space to talk about some of the new, interesting initiatives Canfor is working on. I’m hoping this will be a useful forum for Canfor staff, customers and partners to get a firsthand look at our presence in markets, some of the interesting trends we’re seeing, and new developments and projects on the horizon. As global demand for green, environmentally sustainable building products continues to grow, the opportunities for Canfor’s dedicated teams and new employees just joining the company have never been brighter. 2012 promises to be an exciting year here. The leadership team and I are looking forward to building on the many successes of earlier decades, and moving toward Canfor’s 75th anniversary in 2013.
