Canfor Supports Dry Grad Celebrations

At the end of this month, a new group of high school graduates will empty out their lockers and set forth on an exciting chapter ahead. Before they start pursuing their dreams and launching their careers, there will be a well-deserved celebration.

Canfor is proud to support some of the Grad’16 celebrations by offering our financial support to those schools in our operating communities that are holding a supervised and overnight dry grad event. At Canfor, safety is our number one priority and with our sponsorship of dry grad, we are helping to support a safe high school graduation experience for students.

This year, we are pleased to donate close to $13,000 to support 12 dry grad celebrations taking place in communities across BC and in Grande Prairie, Alberta.

Congratulations to the class of 2016. Celebrate safely and responsibly and I wish you all the best on your careers ahead.
