Canfor Brings Earth Rangers to Chetwynd and Mackenzie

Canfor is proud to once again partner with Earth Rangers Canada and bring their educational program to two additional Canfor communities. The program, which is designed for children in elementary school, shares how human actions affect local animal species, and teaches the importance of environmental responsibility and sustainability.

Earth.Rangers

Thanks to our sponsorship, the Earth Rangers team is travelling to Mackenzie and Chetwynd this month where they will host presentations at five local schools. Students will learn everything from biodiversity, how they can adopt more sustainable behaviours, and how to become directly involved in protecting animals and their habitats. In past years, Canfor has helped bring the program to schools in Prince George, Cranbrook, Fort St. John and Grande Prairie.

We hope that all the children enjoy the presentations and learn ideas on how they can take an active role in helping protect the animals in our surrounding communities.
