CANFOR

Planning

When we make our plans there are three important groups of things we consider.

Inventory: information we need to gather
Activities: actions we propose to do
Communication: people we need to talk to

1. Soil type, climate, tree species, slope.
2. Plant logs to provide homes for woodpeckers
3. First Nations concerns over traditional berry picking grounds
4.  List of wildlife in the area
5. Display logging plans at the town hall
6. Build new hiking trail
7. List types of fish streams
8. Leave trees along edge of salmon stream
9. Discuss possible camping spots with local hiking club
10. Use new road building techniques to help keep fish streams clear and clean
