Every year the Prince George Chamber of Commerce celebrates the city’s outstanding organizations with their Business Excellent Awards. Canfor is proud to have been nominated for two awards this year; the Business of the Year Award and the Environmental Awareness Award. Details on these award categories and requirements are outlined below.
- Business of the Year Award – Companies on this list are Prince George based business that demonstrate outstanding performance, leadership, innovation, management and service over the years but particularly in the past year. Not only do these businesses provide quality products or service, they have also developed excellent employee-employer relationships and are involved in the community.
- Environmental Awareness Award – Canfor made this list thanks to our ongoing commitment to the environment by considering the impact on the environment in all decision making, product/service development and business practices.
