Canfor Supports Town of Fulton Rebuild After Flood

After an unexpected and disastrous flash flood swept into Alabama’s Clarke County, the Town of Fulton and the surrounding communities banded together to aid clean-up efforts. With multiple feet of water destroying homes, parks, stores and roadways, neighbors and local businesses banded together to restore their community.

In an effort to help restoration efforts, Canfor donated $10,000 to the Town of Fulton. These funds will be used to return the Mike Norris Ball Field & Playground and the Billy Fendley Walking Bridge to their original state. Perry Calloway, Fulton Plant Manager, and Lee Goodloe, Area Operations Manager, Alabama, presented the donation to Fulton Mayor Mike Norris.

Canfor is proud to help out those in need and pleased to see how the tight-knit community of Fulton banded together and cared about the well-being of their friends and neighbors.
