Canfor Builds a Stronger Community with Telus Cup Sponsorship

2017 Telus Cup

To follow on Canfor’s long tradition of supporting events, we are proud to officially sign on as a Community Sponsor of the Telus Cup. In just over six months, the puck drops at Hockey Canada’s only minor male hockey championship next April in Prince George and Canfor is thrilled to help bring this event to one of our Canfor communities.

In 2015, when Canfor sponsored the Canada Winter Games in Prince George, we had a great time being part of an event that brought together athletes, their families and other visitors from across the country. We look forward to doing this again with the Telus Cup and using this opportunity to showcase the spirit and opportunity that exists in the thriving community of Prince George.

We want our communities to feel stronger because Canfor is part of it and by signing on as a Community Sponsor of the Telus Cup, we are helping to bring this important sporting event to Prince George and helping make this a memorable event for the community of Prince George as well as for all the visitors who visit the city to watch or participate in the hockey championship.

The week-long event starting April 24, 2017 and will consist of 19 games with six teams including the Cariboo Cougars as host team. It’s sure to be an incredible event for hockey and sporting enthusiasts.
