Description
Our bioproducts, developed through our own operations, subsidiaries and joint ventures, reflect our commitment to sustainability and innovation. By using sawmill by-products, we produce wood pellets, renewable energy, biofuels and other eco-friendly materials.
At Canfor Green Energy, we generate heat and electricity from biomass to help power our operations and support local energy grids.
In Houston, BC, our pellet facility, operated in partnership with Drax and the Witset First Nation, produces industrial-grade pellets which provide clean biomass fuel to customers across Europe, North America and Asia.
Vida Energy converts by-products into wood pellets, chips and biofuels for heating systems in Sweden and also supplies 100% wood shavings for agricultural use.
