Canfor is proud to share that we have signed on as an official sponsor of Olympic hopeful Alison Desmarais, a short-track speed skater from Vanderhoof, BC.

At Canfor we’re proud to support an inclusive and welcoming workplace for all. We are committed to taking a stand against bullying wherever it occurs. One way we show that support is as a proud sponsor of Big Brother Big Sisters’ Pink Shirt Campaign in Prince George.

This season, Canfor continues its tradition of helping those in need. This includes donating over $35,000 to local food banks and Christmas bureaus societies and much more.

In our annual United Way campaign, we are proud to announce our fundraising efforts raised $331,000! The vast majority was raised by employees, which highlights their fundraising creativity and generosity.

Back in April, the Canfor community of Fulton, AL was hit with unexpected and disastrous floods. To support Fulton Fire and Rescue’s need for a new fire station, Canfor proudly donated $50,000.

This year, Canfor participated in the Canadian Government’s first annual Gender Equality Week. Joining together with West Fraser, Tolko and Resolute we worked to shine a light on the women working in the forest products industry through the campaign #JoinTheJourney.

Canfor is proud to announce our new partnership agreement with the BC Sports Hall of Fame that is focused on celebrating British Columbia’s Indigenous athletic community.

On August 25, Canfor employees attended the grand opening of the Radium Hot Springs Centre, a beautiful building that features lumber we donated.

Canfor proudly donated a total of $60,000 that is shared amongst three hospitals: Wills Memorial in Washington, GA; Colquitt Regional Medical Center in Moultrie, GA; and John D. Archbold Memorial Hospital in Thomasville, GA.
